Finally ! Summer’s normal process (and weather) is rolling along : before recharging our body’s batteries during the summer break, we’ve chosen to nourish our minds. Next Tuesday, in the unique setting of the Ecole du Louvre, we will bring together emerging and confirmed talents to confront their visions and ours during the 5th edition of our Meetings for Innovation.

We are particularly attached to this annual event since it lets us give you a peek behind the scenes in our “laboratory” where trends are born, a place that brings together and confronts the ideas of creative people, scientists and well-known personalities who each incarnate, in their own way, a specific facet of tomorrow. And as our teams begin to question the key trends that will mark Fall-Winter 2015/2016, it’s a strong bet that some directions will emerge during this meeting. They will come from the remarks of the speakers and the comments of the participants.

This year, we will be talking about Women. A vast subject undertaken in a prospective way based on current mutations, women’s place in contemporary societies and the events that are constantly shaking them up. This vision will be looked at concretely, allowing new dimensions of femininity and emerging consumer attitudes help brands plan their strategies. As at each of these events, the rhythm of the meeting will have two tempos with an objective of getting an overall picture to then better focus on each case individually. American journalist Hanna Rosin launched the debate by prophesizing the “End of Men and the Rise of Women”. The New York Times takes advantage of this to ask who’s really wearing the pants in the current economic situation ? The rise in power of women is seen in all areas : cultural, education, professional, social … while the differents between men and women remains an everyday reality. Between paradoxes and ruptures, what does this feminization of the world mean ? What will be the consequences in our Western and effervescent countries ? What will be the evolutions in creation, management and company strategies ?
NellyRodi paints a portrait of these new, particularly feminine energies currently changing the world during the 5th edition of Meetings for Innovation.
